ABOUT OUR FIRM<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Claris Strategy<\/strong>, a California S Corporation, was founded in\u00a02012 by William Lim.\u00a0 The name Claris<\/strong> comes from a play on the word \u201cclarity\u201d<\/strong>, the philosophical foundation on which the firm is founded. When Claris Strategy was started, our intent was to\u00a0begin a consulting practice that brings\u00a0clarity<\/strong>\u00a0(the \u201caha\u201d moment) to our clients, a\u00a0creativity<\/strong>\u00a0drawn from design strategy that marries both right brain and left brain ideas, and a\u00a0simplicity<\/strong>\u00a0in the concept that can be clearly conveyed and implemented.<\/p>\n

Strong Experiences Shape Our Philosophy<\/strong><\/p>\n

The philosophical underpinnings of Claris Strategy were formed from William’s many\u00a0years of experience wearing many different hats. During his\u00a0seventeen year career at Gensler, the exceptional design firm, his positions included\u00a0airport designer, the firm\u2019s applied technology leader, an intrapreneur starting two businesses, and a leader in the firm\u2019s consulting practice. Also included was helping\u00a0birth a dotcom, KIKO, as its director of customer experience. A key lesson learned from these experiences is\u00a0that the human element plays an essential role in success and failure<\/strong>. Bringing real change to organizations means getting people to agree to change and then giving them a plan\u00a0to carry out.<\/p>\n
